We're going to Disney World!

We have done so well with the beginning half of the semester that we decided to reward ourselves with a week off. Okay well not really, but we were happy to take a week off. Thanks to dad and mom Winter we had a fun week as a family down in the warm, sunshine state of Florida. We saw the mouse, rode rides, went to a costume party, and just enjoyed the environment. It was such a fun week. Now we're back at work and school, remembering how much fun we had. What a great semester its been so far.

Our new home

Over the past week we have moved from Ogden to our new place in Layton. We are living now in the basement of Grandma Winter, who is really fun to live by. She gave us the freedom to paint the walls and really dress up the place and it really feels like home to us. We had a bunch of helpers show up and do everything from painting to electrical work to installing a hookup for the washing machine. It looks wonderful and we feel at home here. In celebration of the new place we invited both of our families over for a house warming party. We had pizza provided by the Stouts, drinks from the Winters and a disco ball that we contributed. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from our new place.

VIVA LAS VEGAS! We got the opportunity to go to Las Vegas for a trip. Dad got us a place at the New York New York and he also got us tickets to the Stomp Out Loud show. It was amazing! Aubrey was kinda worried going there to the city of sin but we had a great time in the end. She loved the fountains at Belagio and the Cheesecake Factory. We also went to an amazing aquarium at the Mandalay Bay. We saw sharks, crocodiles, piranas, sea turtles, and komodo dragons. Aubrey was scared of the dragons, it was kinda funny. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe and Aubrey decided she wanted a golden statue of Nate in a fountain someday. We saw the movie Get Smart to kill some time and escape the 120 degree heat and almost died laughing. Aubrey laughed really hard at one part, she got kinda embarrassed after cause she realized that no one else was laughing as hard as her. Overall we had a great time and had a fun time driving together on a fun adventure.

Fathers Day

We promised some pictures of the infamous Fathers Day gifts. So here you go. Dad Winter got a jogging suit that looks like a Star Trek uniform, and Dad Stout got a Jack Bower bag to help him in his future endeavors. Both were a hit!!!

Housesitting?

Okay, well so far we haven't even got onto the roof so we're housesitting by name only. Nate's family is off having fun without us but lovingly invited us to watch Michael the dog. We decided to take the opportunity as our vacation in our "summer home" and so we are living up the posh life and eating fish and mozarella sticks, fancy foods we know. We did decide to watch an episode of Star Trek Voyager last night in preparation of father's day for an excellent father's day gift for Papa Penguin but only made it five or so minutes. Oh well so we're "boring" old married people, according to Aubrey. We'll have to get a picture of the gift after we gift it. Really we're only doing this blog entry because Aubrey is teaching Nate how to use it. Thanks for tuning in though. More to follow.
